Kaneka acrylic resins for optical use are widely used for polarizer protection film due to their good optical properties. This material is also used for optical components such as lenses and light guide plates, because of their good transparency. There are Standard acrylic resin (HTX-Z) and acrylic resin with UV absorber (HTX-ZU).

Features
- High transparency: total light transmittance is 92%
- Zero birefringence
-
Low moisture permeability: Suitable for LCD open cells
Capable of manufacturing polarizing plates with low warpage
- Thin film formability: Capable of melt extrusion molding
